First of all, WOW.  Secondly, Cindy and Bryan have been extremely patient with me and for that I send out a huge thank you!!!  Unfortunately, their session fell right before Ike hit = 1 week of NO editing… AND I was already scheduled to be out of town right after that = almost another week of waiting on little ol’ me.  Well, I’m back in the saddle, whipping out images in Photoshop and this was an AMAZING session to start with!  I could’ve just photographed these guys ALL day long.  They were incredible to work with and I can’t wait for the big day!  Enjoy…

The very beautiful Cindy:

And very lucky groom!

We started out with Cindy’s bridals… va-va-voom!

And well, ok Bryan… we’ll let you in on the action!

I love downtown… I always see something new and different… this “tree” was so cool (all you local photog’s are probably thinking, “eh…that’s old school girl! you need to get out more! ha… 😉 )

I had so much fun with you guys!  We’re going to have a blast in October!

If I have the story straight, Alex proposed to Katie at the first Pirates of the Carribean movie… therefore our very creative groom’s cake!

A little money dancin’…

Check out the reflection on the ceiling… so cool!

Katie & Alex are married!

Katie and Alex had a beautiful wedding at Lakewood United Methodist Church and celebrated at Northgate Country Club.  I had the pleasure of shooting with my good friend and fellow photographer, Ross Benton of Studio Benton from San Antonio.

side note: (okay, so I’ve had some OTHER photographer friends chide me for not having my logo present on my blog images (i don’t use many “fancy” words, so I like to look them up sometimes to see exactly what they mean and merriam-webster’s definition of chide: “to voice disapproval to ; reproach in a usually mild and constructive manner”.  no worries.  this was definitely done in a mild and constructive manner. 😉 ).  so here’s my first post with my logo emblazoned upon them (merriam-webster defines: “to inscribe or adorn with or as if with heraldic bearings or devices”.  i like that…”heraldic bearings”).  i plan to make this more sophisticated at some point, but for now this heraldic bearing will have to do).

Beautiful Katie…

And a little Alex action…

This shot that Ross captured was awesome of the little flower girl who decided she didn’t really WANT to walk down that long aisle after all!

We headed over to Northgate Country Club for some shots out on the golf course.

Ross totally rocked with his hu-mong-O 300mm Canon lens.  I want one.

Up next… the reception!

I met up with Trina & Joey at The Grove (where Joey proposed) down by Discovery Green downtown a few weeks ago for a fun shoot. Some of the faves…

You’ll have to excuse me a moment while I get carried away with this series out on the top deck at the restaurant…

Love it…

And this one below… I just love this one.  Trina has amazing eyes!

Then we stepped inside for a few…

Now I just need to figure out how these two can sneak me into a suitcase for their island wedding next summer!
